Patrick Hicks joined Thomas J. Dwyer & Associates in February 2026 as a tax associate. Prior to joining the firm, Patrick worked for the Chicago-based restaurant group One Off Hospitality in a variety of roles—from the accounting department to supervising at street festivals. He also participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program at the University of Illinois for two tax seasons.

Patrick is from River Forest, and he attended Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago. He then attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy in 2025. He is currently pursuing his CPA license.

In his free time, Patrick enjoys playing golf, studying history, and visiting old churches.
