Sandra joined Thomas J. Dwyer and Associates in July 2025 as a Tax Associate. She recently graduated with her Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA) from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Originally from California, Sandi discovered her interest in bookkeeping while helping her father with his financials for his small HVAC business. She received her undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts from California State University of Fresno and pursued a career in Restaurant Management. After having her two boys she stepped back from management and raised her boys while working as a part time bookkeeper and bartending a couple of nights a week. Once her boys were a little older, she decided to return to school and pursue a career in accounting.

Sandra lives in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago with her boyfriend and two children. She loves to spend time with her family, enjoys hiking, and knitting on the couch with a good movie.
